2020's miniature tally

Well I'm not quite dead despite having caught this bloody virus! and I've decided to put up a post that contains all the miniatures I managed to paint in 2020. All things considered it wasn't too bad a year hobby wise.

Here we have my Empire Forces ready for the upcoming Idol of Gork Campaign. 19 Halberdiers and twenty two hand gunners plus Von Bock the Empire commander for the first scenario (You can also see one lonely Imperial Guardsman lurking in the background.)

8 Savage Orc Boar Boys ready for the later scenarios in Idol of Gork. I've got another 4 boar boys in languishing in Methylated Spirits ready to be stripped and re-painted some time in March!

Three 10 man sections of German Grenadiers, an 8 man section of engineers, two MG 42 teams and a Hauptmann all 1/72 or 20mm scale and a mix of Airfix and Italeri

One 10 man Panzer Grenadier section, a four man veteran squad and two more MG42 gunners (they need their number twos added.

Three ten man sections of Tommies, a 2" mortar team, two Vickers heavy machine gun sections, a four man veteran squad, signaller, Lieutenant, Colour Sergeant and a "Colonel" you can also see the ruined farm house in the back ground along with a Panzer II and Panzer IV. The house is scratch built the Panzer IV is by airfix and the Panzer II is an old Matchbox kit now available via Revell. The British infantry and vickers machine guns are old Ertl sculpts now available through Italeri. The signaller, Colonel and 2" mortar team are all HaT miniatures I think.

And the overall picture to finish along with a little piece of the river sections that are just about finished. In total  50 Warhammer miniatures, 1 Warhammer 40k mini, 106 WW2 20mm infantry, two 20mm tanks and a ruined house. Which works out at 13 minis a month or 3 a week! 

January was spent building up a number of troops ready for painting. So far I've got 20 halflings from Wargames atlantic assembled, 20 Empire crossbows from Warlord, 10 Greatswords also from warlord and the last few halberdiers are being put together now then it's just a question of getting all 60 miniatures painted!!!
